Poster Presentations
You will need to create your poster based on the specifications below and have it printed ready to display on your allocated poster board on your presentation day. Posters will be hung in the foyer of the conference venue.
Regular Paper Poster Presentation Format:
- A0/A1 in size (one page only): if A0, it needs to be a portrait.
- Colour printed (on paper or material).
- Ensure your poster is on the correct board on your presentation day.
- Hang your poster from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and remove it by 5:30 PM. Unremoved posters will be disposed of.
Poster presenters are encouraged to stand alongside their posters during the poster session to answer questions. International authors should print their posters before arriving in Auckland.
Oral Presentations
Create your oral presentation and have it ready on a USB to turn into the Presentation Room ahead of your scheduled program slot.
Regular Paper Presentation Format:
- All Oral Presentations will be allocated 15-minutes in the program. This 15-minutes is inclusive of 13-minutes for the presentation and 2-minutes of Q&A.
- Please ensure that any presentation slides you are using for your presentation are in PowerPoint format.
- The slide aspect ratio for your presentation should be set to 16:9. To change the aspect ratio on PPT go to the ‘Design’ tab at the top then select ‘Slide Size’ (usually located on the far right) here you will find the ratio options.
- For presenters who cannot attend the conference in person, please prepare a 15-minute presentation video. Please ensure that the video format needs to be mp4. Before Nov. 28, please email Yuan Gao ( y.gao1@massey.ac.nz ) the link where the file can be downloaded. Do not email your file to Yuan Gao. If you have any questions, please contact Yuan Gao.
Keynote/Panel Presentations Format:
- All Keynote Presentations will be allocated 60-minutes in the program. This 60-minutes is inclusive of 50-minutes for the presentation and 10-minutes of Q&A.
- Please ensure that any presentation slides you are using for your presentation are in PowerPoint format.
- The slide aspect ratio for your presentation should be set to 16:9.

Workshop Presentations
Workshops will take place on Tuesday 3 December at the Conference. Please ensure you know when your workshop is occurring in the schedule and to what room it has been allocated.
Workshop Format Requirements:
- You will receive instructions from your workshop organisers who will tell you how long your oral presentation is.
- Workshop rooms will contain a projector, lectern with laptop connections, and microphone.
- resentations to be shared in the room must be created on PowerPoint and set at a slide aspect ratio of 16:9.
